"Lean on me, Dean," Sam said while putting his arm around his brother. "Come on. We're almost there."
Dean moaned, grabbing his bloody side, still too stubborn to actually lean on his little brother. Sam sighed and grabbed Dean by the armpit, pulling him up. "Come on, tough guy." Dean grumbled, but finally gave in. The blood loss made him feel awful.
Suddenly Sam heard a cracking noise behind him and without any hesitation he grabbed the demon knife, turned around and sliced the demon's throat who was ready to jump on top of them, while still holding his brother with the other hand.
"Good job, Sammy," Dean said hoarsely through some coughing fits. Sam felt how he got heavier and slid down. Sam pulled him back up while scanning the surroundings and could finally see the flickering lights from the motel sign.
"You're okay, Dean," Sam said soothingly. "You're going to be okay." He muttered more to himself now.
He rushed to the motel, almost half carrying Dean. Once they arrived at their room, Sam put him on the bed, ripping off his shirt; clearing the area around his wound. Dean breathed heavily and with every breath he took Sam could see how blood trickled down his side. Sam blinked a few times before he carried on, grabbing a towel, making it wet and sat on a chair next to Dean. He pushed the towel to the wound, keeping pressure on it. Sam sighed deeply and allowed himself to take a closer look at his brother. Dean was getting pale, flinching with every breath exhale. The cut was deep and the skin around it started to get red and swollen. The demon got him good.
Sam leaned forward, resting his head on Dean's chest. He's going to be okay. He's his big brother. Of course he is going to be okay. He just needs some stitches, he will get some after the bleeding stops. He will patch Dean up. He wi-
Sam startled when he felt a hand on his head, weakly ruffling through his hair.
"Doing good, Sammy," Dean said and Sam could hear the smile through his voice. And then he knew, that Dean was going to be alright.

Castiel's First Christmas
It was all very strange. There was a tree in the room, that Sam and Dean had wrapped lights around along with something they called tinsel. They had also placed balls of glass and plastic all over the tree. On the top was the 'Christmas Angel' that was both intriguing and appalling. Under the tree, the Winchester brothers had placed gifts for each other and one each for him. Heaving a sigh, Cas moved to the tree and slid the two gifts he held underneath it.
He wasn't sure why he had let the two convince him to partake in this celebration. It wasn't something he had ever understood, nor had he tried to. In Heaven, he paid little attention to

Anthem of the Angels -DeanCas-
Warning: Contains mentions of an abusive relationship
The first time that Dean had met Castiel, the quiet and intelligent writer whom enjoyed writing in the library, had been when Castiel could not find a book that he needed in order to research something and Dean had to help him find it. Dean was crap at organizing the books, and if it wasn't for the fact that his brother owned the library Dean would not b working there. At least that was before he had met Castiel. He noticed instantly the stunning blue eyes hidden behind the glasses he wore while he was writing, thin black frames that Dean supposed were for reading.

Family
Let me tell you a little something about family. They're the most important people in your life. Friends, they come and go. Lovers too. But family? They're always there. They may drive you nuts (man, will they drive you nuts) but in the end, when it really matters, they're the ones that will be there. And you've got to be there for them, too. Because family... they're the reason you're alive today. Without them, you'd be nothing. And despite all the drama, and the troubles, you love them (for the most part). You will always be there for them. And when it comes down to it, you'll be happy to find they'll always be there for you too.
